Q1 I passed the first time.
The examiner said I just barely made it!
Today (7/10) there were eight people in the afternoon trying to convert a foreign driver’s license(Gaimen kirikae), and almost all of them failed.
Q2They told me to check more carefully when turning.
They said to really pay attention because you can get caught up in an accident.
(I thought I was doing it correctly, but apparently I was too optimistic.)
Q3 I was able to practice efficiently, over three times.
This was a short-cut to passing the test.
Q5If you don’t practice with a tight focus on the key points at driving school in Tokyo for English class, I think it will be difficult to pass the first time.
I feel this course for transferring a foreign driver’s license is unique.

Among the examinees for converting a foreign driver's license, two were Japanese, and the others were non-Japanese.
Q2I wasn’t really censured or praised about anything.
Q3I took three lessons.
These lessons were the first time I had driven in a Japanese car.
I felt the price was both expensive... and reasonable? But the content was definitely worth it!
Q5I can say for sure, if I didn’t take these English lessons at your driving school, I wouldn’t have passed the driving skills test for converting a foreign driver’s license! I only have an American license, and I had no driving experience.
In fact, I was not even thinking of converting my foreign license.

Q1I obtained a license in America, and didn’t do anything further, but after returning to Japan, I wanted to obtain a Japanese driver’s license so I could drive.
Q2When obtaining a scooter license, I took some steps to prepare for the written test, so in this case I didn’t take any particular steps.
However, the AAA in America has a text on traffic regulations and road signs in Japan, so I studied a little with that.

Soon after returning to Japan, I took the test to convert a foreign driver’s license, but I didn’t pass and some years passed without any progress. I would have been better off if I had taken lessons from Kiki Driving School earlier.
I think it’s necessary.
The instructor pointed out things I didn’t notice, bad habits, and things I wasn’t good at, and gave me advice. That was very worthwhile.
Professionals know best about topics like the key points of the test, so I think it would be difficult to do this just on one’s own.
It’s not enough to simply be able to drive. The examiner carefully checks things like how you use blinkers, brakes, and do checking, so practicing with awareness of the test is absolutely necessary.

After that I kept putting it off, but finally I made a big decision and decided to take up the challenge again, and this time I thought I would try taking lessons.
I was able to pass the test on my first try.
Among 14 people, there were two Japanese, including myself.
A total of four people passed.
I realized once again that it’s a tough test.
